Tammy A. Owens.

My interconnection.

Helping people, ideas & organisations grow through reimagining & portfolio thinking.

A portfolioist.

Someone who intentionally designs and creates a portfolio of interconnected work.

In practice, in my case, that means I am a:

  • Mentor & Coach

  • Growth Strategist

  • Producer

  • Writer

Over the last 25+ years, I have contributed to the growth of more than 250 organisations, from startups and SMEs to global brands, charities, and public sector organisations, helping turn ideas into reality and create new opportunities.

I am equally comfortable working at board level, shaping strategy, or rolling up my sleeves to bring projects to life. I also love supporting individuals through their own transformation.

I hold a degree in English Literature from the University of York; the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Certificate and Diploma, and the CIM Diploma in Digital Marketing; the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) NCE in Journalism; and I have had 18 months training with The Coaching Academy (Acredited by the Association of Coaching).

I believe in another way of living.

One that is more connected to the planet, each other, and ourselves.

I don’t see work as work. I see it as what I create.

I have never believed life or career must follow a straight line. In a world shaped by constant change, the ability to adapt, reinvent ourselves and create new opportunities remains essential in ever-new ways.

I am fascinated by the future of work, portfolio careers, flexible and anywhere working. And I want to help people build lives and businesses that are not defined by a single job title or product yet are intrinsically grounded in who they are.

At the heart of what I do and my own work is a simple question: How do I create meaningful, sustainable, and fulfilling ways of working and living in today's world? I work with people and organisations who want to explore that too.

Alongside my portfolio

I am writing my first fantasy novel — an exploration of imagination and the worlds we create.

I am a yogi, sailor, hiker, slow traveller and festival goer. A willing apprentice to the never-ending DIY project of doing up my house.

And I am finding myself drawn back to traditional crafts, the land, and what we harvest from it.
